One of the Trust’s most ambitious projects is taking shape — a new business hub in the heart of Ngatea, and the flagship of our economic development work.
The idea
A quality co-working and professional-services space designed to do two things at once: give established businesses a base to serve the Hauraki Plains, and give local startups an affordable, flexible place to grow.
As the service hub of the Hauraki Plains — and roughly midway between Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga and the Coromandel — Ngatea is well placed to be a regional home for firms that serve rural New Zealand, without the cost and commute of a big-city office.
What it might offer

More than office space, we’d love it to become a natural gathering point for business across the district — somewhere to connect, learn and do good work together.
