This funding area supports the organisations, events and facilities that help keep communities connected. Whether it’s a local hall, a volunteer group or a community event, we’re interested in projects that bring people together and contribute to life on the Plains.

- The Ngatea Volunteer Fire Brigade
- A walking and cycle track on the Ngatea domain
- Kerepehi Brass Band and Netherton Hall
- Ngatea Pharmacy and a community pantry
- Local Lions clubs, events and gatherings
